what would you do???

So i got this from the teacher in sunday school and REALLY enjoyed it. I for sure am making a goal to no longer read the GOSSIP magazines because what would jesus think?? maybe that is why my mom never let them in our house growing up ,they are useless junk that just make me wish i was skinnier anyways! :)

IF JESUS CAME TO YOUR HOUSE

If jesus came to your house to spend a day or two
if he came unexpectedly, I wonder what you'd do.
oh, i know you'd give your nicest room to such an honored guest, and all the food you'd
serve him would be the very best.
and you would keep assuring him you're glad to have him there
that serving him in your home is joy beyond compare
but---when you saw him coming would you meet him at the door with arms outstretched
in welcome to your heav'nly visitor?
or would you have to change your clothes before you let him in?
or hide some magazines and put the scriptures where they'd been?
or would you turn off the radio--and hope he hadnt heard?
and wish you hadnt uttered that last, loud, hasty word?
would you hide your worldly music and put some hymn books out?
could you let Jesus walk right in, or would you rush about?
and so i wonder --if the Savior spent a day or two with you,
would you go right on doing the things you always do.
would you sing the songs you always sing and always say?
would life for you continue as it does from day to day?
and at the dinner table would you say a word of grace?
would you sing the songs you always sing and read the books you read,
and let him know the things on which your mind and spirit feed?
would you take him with you everywhere you planned to go?
or would you, maybe, change your plans for just a day or so?
would you be glad to have him meet your very closest friends,
or would you hope they'd stay away until his visit ends?
would you be glad to have him stay forever on and on
or would you sigh with great relief when he at last was gone?
i might be interested to know the things that you would do,
if jesus came in person to spend some time with you.

so i have been in my new ward for a couple of months and REALLY enjoyed being in RS and sunday school because i am ALWAYS in primary. so of course i get a call yesterday to meet with the counselor and of COURSE he calls me and Matt to the primary:) LOL i could not believe i was going back! i am really excited but really bummed to not beable to hear all the wonderful messages anymore!
so me and matt decided we are really going to study each lesson together so we can get some more insights, i am excited to teach with the hubby too! i love team teaching together and we get the 11 year olds! WAHOO!
AND OF COURSE THEY ASK US TO SPEAK TOO:) i guess i got away with not talking for 3 years in our last ward! so i guess i knew what was coming.lol

lessons

SO i have to say that my new ward is soooooo uplifting! a lot of the people there are much older than me and have been through sooo many more things than i have, and have learned so much more. today in R.S we talked about trials and how they make us stronger. I was swept away in anguish for the Prophet Joseph smith when he was dragged away in the middle of the night by the stupid mob and tared and feathered, our teacher made it so real that i seriously felt his wifes pain! i mean how many of us would allow our husbands to go through all that he went through! Emma was a AWESOME latter day woman! she stood by her hubby and kept him going! it made me really think of all the petty little things that i get upset at and how they are just not worth the negative feelings and i can save my self from all of those little trials in life!
Joseph was an incredible man to go and teach the following day and look in the eyes of the men that had nearly killed him the night before and teach them! WOW!! what an awesome awesome man! for some reason it has never hit me as hard as it did in todays lesson, of how much of a faithful servant joseph really was. i really am glad and know there is a reason i am in the ward that i am in! i have learned so much from these brothers and sisters in these couple of months than i ever have in my life! maybe i am getting older or maybe its cause i dont have a calling yet, or a crying baby in my lap, but i am thankful that i am able to learn from these great teachers! i am grateful for Joseph Smith and for pretty much living a life of "Come what may, and love it!".

why Haven!!

my poor baby is at it again!
so i have a trampoline that has one of those net things around it ya know...so the kids WONT fall off...well monday night sammantha decided to carry haven off of the tramp holding her facing out and she slipped on the ladder and haven faceplanted it on the cement(i know why do we have the tramp on cement!. i will tell ya it is a pain in the butt to move around on the grass when you are mowing!) so she came in bawling! of course..her nose was not bleeding just a little bloody snot...and her nose was a bit swollen....well she woke up the next morning with a huge black eye and a bump on her nose... i had to work that day and my mom said she should be fine...but when i got home it was worse!! so i called the doc just to make sure and they said to bring her in......so 20$ co pay later and dragging 4 kids out at dinner time they said her nose was broken and we needed to take her to Primarys!! yuck and POOR baby! i could not believe it, it is almost her birthday and she had to look like someone beat her up! ....well anyway primarys said they had to wait till friday so the swelling would go down some before they could fix her.....we went in ....30$ copay later AND 2 hours later the doc said she looked good it will heal on its own and her tube inside is crooked but it is okay and they dont need to rebreak anything.........hmmmm .....sometimes i wonder what docs are thinking....i guess it is better safe then sorry to get your child checked out...so she is fine and healing great..she just looks banged up and .................what could i have bought with 50$????????

these pics do not do her justice, she looks horrible but my nice camera is dead so these are what i got:(poor baby!

you would think if you had a broken nose you would not be smiling,,,,so of course it is not broken! cute girl!

gotta laugh!

i know i know all these hairblogs and i dont need to post but we had some fun today so i wanted you to guess my girls head???who is who... this one is ...................samm
this one is ..............jordan(annies daughter)
this one is ................aubrey
this one is,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, haven
GUESS WHO??????? HAHAHAHA!! This is my sis annie! we had a little time on our hands( i dont know how with 7 kids!) and we decided we were going to see how it felt to do a crazy hairstyle on ourselves so we would know what our girls went through!
and of course we had to be DUMB and pose all CUTE LOL! annie said it HURT when i threaded the ribbon in her hair and when i stuck the flowers in too! It was soooo funny !!
GUESS WHO THIS MOP OF HAIR IS!!
ME! lOL ! this took FOREVER and it HURT when she had to stick ALL those bobby pins in my hair...so i know now my girls are serious when they say it hurts, but i am still gonna do their hair anyway! HAHA!

so i came to the conclusion that these dos are TOTALLY not ment for grown up hair...cause now i will have some major breakage! and it gave me a stinkin headache from having it all pinned up!! so we will keep these for the little girls! lol
