kids kids kids

It has been a LONG week so far! This is what I get to look at all day long:) these CUTE kids!
I tell ya I think I am good with 5 kids...well actually I am good with 4 kids but its a little too late to change my mind about baby #5 now haha! anyway maybe its been hard because the kids are so little and i have pretty much 2 of each age, its nice though to have a break while samm and parker go to school. and the little kids go down for a nap....AND now that Haven is completely better!!
Annie and Brandon are coming back from navhoo on saturday night and I bet they cant wait to see their kids, so these pics go out to them! enjoy ann!!!
This is Brigham the TROUBLE maker!! I turn my head for 2 minutes and this kid has gotten into somethin or other( its nice that his mama's and papa's room is locked so that eliminates makeup!) Yet he is a real sweety to the girls if he wants to be.
This is Tegan the HAM and SCREAMER.. she is finally at the age where she lets ya know what she wants and if she doesnt get er way she screams or if she does get her way she screams! haha!
These are my fav girls, they are the best of friends but MAN do they get in the worst fights!!
Here is Jordan the smarty pants that LOVES and helps out with tegan SOOO much! She loves to dress up and look pretty so here are a few of her twirling and of course dressing up as a skeleton!

The 2 spiderman wannabes
(do you like her hair annie????haha! she decided to brush her hair for hours after i put them in piggies:)) and of course she has to have her headband/forhead band in!!

Parker has had this hang tooth for over a month that he REFUSED to let me try to pull. I am not very good at pulling teeth so after many failed attempts with his first tooth I let my dad do it! Of course he is the pro since he had 8 kids he had to help!
Anyway I finally got my dad over to pull this top one because Parker was lookin like tow mater!
After ALOT of crying we finally coaxed Parker into letting my dad put a piece of floss on it and ..PULL ...it popped right out and a little blood flicked me in the face and parker just laid there .....silent....then said "Eh it didnt hurt:)" got up and put it in a bag for the toothfairy. Bring on the Rabbit teeth!

The kids all LOVE wrestling with Matthew so after everyone had baths and jammies on then it was wrestle time! And of course ya always have a few criers that cant handle it AKA Haven:)
Just watching them makes me tired and hurt!

I think the worst is finally over for Haven! She has been so good so far with the scabs coming off. There has been no blood so far and she continues to drink because I told her she will have to get another ouchy IV in her hand if she doesnt.
People have told me of night terrors that their children have after the surgery that last the whole 2 weeks, so I am assuming that is why she is up every hour. Last night was the first night that Matt took over for me so I could actually get a few hours of uninterrupted sleep!:) (thank heavens for husbands!) I had to wake up at 5 this morning to take Ariane and Brandon to the airport for their fabulous 9 day Nahvoo vaca they are taking! so it was nice to get some rest to tackle the day today:)
All the kids were up by 7 which is no different than normal and they are their normal crazy selfs..its nice that we have lived here for awhile so that it is not out of the norm for any of the kids.
Tegan and Haven play pretty good together and Parker and Briggs play then Jordan and Aubrey play very well and of course my Samm is at school all day! so everyone is pretty much occupied while I tackle the house and FEED them ALL day long! LOL

day 5

I finally have a moment to sit down and write about our experience so far with Haven.
Friday morning her and I left the house at 6:20 am to hed to the surgeons office..i woke up a little earlier than her and ate so i would not feel sick and i did not want to eat in front of her since she could not eat or drink:(
anyway the surgery was about 10 minutes but the recovery time after was about 2 hours because we could not get her oxygen levels up..we finally were released and she threw up in the car! She seemed just fine so I took her home and started right away giving her what ever popsicle or icecream she wanted.. she did pretty good the first day.
she was a bit loopy from the lortab that she had to take every 4 hours so it was pretty funny to try to talk to her..
Saturday she was the same she still drank and ate a little bit of her yogurts and stuff so not too worried, Sunday was the 3rd day so i was armed for the worst! Pretty much all day the only thing I had to struggle with is trying to get her to drink. she would not even take her meds! it was a pretty tough day because of her lack of fluid intake and that was it!! i was so happy, so I thought the 4th day would be worse.
I prayed my guts out all day sunday and sunday night that she would start drinking because i did not want her to be dehydrated.. so she woke up monday and wanted to DRINK! i was sooo happy!! she downed a cup of water and then started vomitting! oh man i was sure hoping it was just gagging or something.....anyway she continued to vomit the rest of the day I stopped her pain meds about 1 pm in case it was too hard on her tummy. Last night has been the WORST night so far. she threw up ALL night long and was so out of it she was just up and down all night:(
so far that has been the hardest. She woke up this morning so lethargic and still vomiting so Matthew and Brandon gave her a blessing which was awesome! ( I love having the priesthood in my home!)
I finally called her doctor to see if something else might be going on because everyone that i have talked to does not recall their child vomitting that much after their surgery... so the doc wanted me to take her right in to the E.R and get an IV since she had not had 4 wet diapers...I was more concerned about her kidneys or bowels shutting down so that is why i thought maybe she was throwing up so much..i mean she was not even throwing up blood?
Matt and I took her in and sure enough she was severely dehydrated and her white blood count was really high(which usually is after this surgery) they cathed her and sent her urine to get cultured to make sure she does not have a UTI ....anyway 6 hours at the E.R was enough for this poor girl! she is now a NEW woman!! she is talking which she has not done since her surgery, she is playing with her babies and just being Haven....so I am soo thankful for those sweet ivs, at least for tonight made hers and my life easier......I hope she does not get bad again but am enjoying this now:) She ate her first real dinner and drank from a cup and is now sitting next to me right now coloring instead of laying on me whimpering! cute baby hoho's!!!

Haven

My little Haven is having her tonsils out tomorrow morning, so I thought i would post a few pics of this girl before she is tortured...She has dealt with so much her short little life and constantly feeling like you cant swallow would be HORRIBLE so i hope she is even a HAPPIER baby after the surgery! She currently is still really sick with strep so Im hoping it will alleviate that as well:)

Mr. Parker

So I have finally got around to posting about Parkers first day of school! He has been sooooo antsy since samm started a week earlier. We met his teacher and did his testing which went AWESOME since this is his second time doing kindergarten. He was real excited to go until we got out of the van and he just DIED! he said he was so nervous..haha poor kid:) but i talked him through it and we saw a couple of his friends so he was just fine after that...

Last year he was in the A.M class, this year he is in P.M so he gets to walk home with samm. It is so fun to see them walking together. They have a pretty big hill they have to go on so they come home just sweating away lol! parker comes in and tanks at least 2 cups of COLD water:)
Parker told matt that school is so easy he was really excited how much he knows...we are really glad we decided to hold him back because now he has SOOO much confidence and is really enjoying school. I did not want him to struggle and hate school the rest of his life so hopefully this will be that cure:) LOVE YA PARK!
