Happy thanksgiving!! this year we had turkey day at my house with my side of the family...we had a TON of people and it was sooo much fun! we love to play games and drink slush all night long!

arnt these the COOLEST band aids ever!! I took aubrey into the doctor on tuesday because she was fevering and throwing up ! so sure enough it was strep, so they gave her the shot that is like lotion! she was awesome!! she couldnt walk on it though for a day:)

Samm had her first Pow Wow in school! her Indian name was shining rain, isnt she soo cute!

Sammantha is turning 7 on thanksgiving so we threw her party this last saturday. She could only invite a handful of people because i had a genius idea to create bead shirts....not such a good idea! dont get me wrong they were SOOO cute and fun to make but the girls were too young to do it themselves and i did not have enough beads AND they wanted these masive designs.LOL! so i let them go crazy with the puffy paint and they LOVED that ...samm had so much fun! she was really excited to see her old friends! we had pizza, cupcakes , danced like crazy to Hannah Montana( they all think i am a crazy mom for dancing in front of people.HAHA!) then we played musical chairs and played the bonk on the head thing for samm to open her presents, they loved that:) .........thanks girls for making sammys day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just love when children want to sing anytime for you! I am not sure what she is singing but isnt she a DOLL!

SO friday was samms spirit day at school and OF COURSE she wore BYU! (go byu, even though you got slaughtered:)) and the rest of the kids wanted to take a pic as well haven I know is crazy but what can i say she was tested positive AGAIN for strep that day! poor girl!

Sammy had her friend over and we were taking pics and of course Aubrey wanted to be in the picture as well DO YOU NOTICE WHAT SHE IS DOING?????? How many of you have either done this to yourself or one of your daughters has done this?? HAHA! I TOTALLY REMEMBER! As i was taking the picture and noticed what she was doing i hollered at her to STOP CURLING YOUR HAIR WITH THE COMB! LOL and she freaked out and here is the damage..


it was wrapped pretty good! this is actually her second time doing this! she had REALLY long hair when she did it the first time:)
i was trying to remember how i got it out so easy last time? Matt told me to just cut it out! I of course refused Aubs was just crying GET IT OUT! so I got a threading needle to wiggle it loose and got it out in about 5 minutes!





now she is a happy camper:) thank goodness i did not cut it out her dad said! (men, they know ALL the answers:))

SWEET! my camera has been dead for, well since the last time i posted pics! i lost my cord to charge it and JUST found it 2 days ago! so of course i got NO Halloween pics or any pics of our annual ginger bread making on the in law side! so i am quit bummed but sooo glad i found it just in time for my sisters wedding shower!! yup ..Jessica is getting married! weird i know! she is sooo young luckily she will be just turning 19 before she gets married!
she met this cute lad at BYU where she goes to school. He is i think a security guard person thingy???anyway he would escort jessie home when she would work on campus real late and that is how they met, i love him and am soo happy to have another bro in law!

it seems like decades that i have not posted! we have been so sick around here that i just dont want to think about writing i just enjoy reading everyone elses blogs! do you ever feel that way, i think it is much more entertaining!
well i am better now and so are most of the kids, haven has strep throat so she is still a little crazy!
i have to say i am REALLY excited that my kids go back on track in another week. I have totally LOVED being with them but am running out of fun stuff to do with them!
I started playing some of these really OLD board games that i used to play when i was little and they LOVE them! it made me think back at what it used to make me feel like to pretend i was actually the character in the game! boy do i miss that!
anyway samms favorite was Titanic she wants to play that everyday! she gets so sad when some of the people drown that we did not save!
my favorite game i would have to say was Fantasy Island...ya know with TATOO! anyway it is so fun to teach them some fun traditions, we were never aloud to play much of video games so REAL games were engraved in me! I love to get together and play games with friends and family!
AND you really get to know a person playing them too! my dad.....he is the man to play with cause it is soooooo fun to tease him and rub it in his face when he loses haha he hates it :)

anyhow Parker is Dying to go back to school and learn some more things to draw!
samm however has really enjoyed sleeping in! LOL

also my little BRO alan came home form his mission on monday and is DATING like crazy! i asked matt what in the world is he doing cant he calm down for a few weeks with his family? and all matt said was ..he is still a boy he hasnt been able to date for 2 YEARS give the guy a break! so i yet am able to get together and play games with that kid! he is sooooo awesome! i am so grateful the lord let him go to mexico and teach so many people, he has such a sweet and strong testimony! I LOVE YOU ALAN!
