Family History

I just have to tell you about this new obsession that i have! it is called indexing!
im tellin ya it is really addicting and really fun to see all the different names and families of people that migrated to America!
you just go to this website and register and you can do as much or as little of this family history that you want! and on your own computer!
some of you might have been already doing this but i thought i would share the sense of relief that i have gotten from it as well because we are commanded to do family history and by all means that phrase scares me to death!! but this is super easy and it COUNTS! so try it out and tell me what you think! (and you dont have to be L.D.S either!)

Christmas

our ward Christmas party was last night it was soooo fun! they had a couple of people sing and then Santa came and talked about the symbols of Christmas.

And of course my crazy kids had to stick their spoons on their noses! HAHA!

I just LOVE this girl! she always wants me to do fancy hairdos from all the fancy hairblogs! I love to beable to pratice them on super LONG hair! Thankyou Ray! (she is the sister of one of samms friends) She is SO pretty!

Sayings

Well after 6 loooong years working at a credit card company i have decided to take a better job working for a sales company!
I am REALLY nervous but excited at the same time!
We, like many others have been effected by the economy(and can i just say it sucks! and i want to curl up into a little ball and hide until it is all over!)
Matt has been the co-owner for about 3 months now of the company that he has worked for and out of those 3 months we have been paid one month.....
so of course me, the crazy obsessed balance her checkbook to the penny woman has been taught FAITH! big time....
so this new job i am hoping will give us some stability until the economy gets better and our business can do well again! I am really stoked about being able to work at home and see my babies ALL DAY!!
so to make my life happier i wanted to hang some of these sayings around my house my friend gave me a HUGE list ... ya know that you can hang on your walls and stuff! i wanted to share with ya'll....enjoy!

The Blonde Antelope!

I officially do not have ANY more babies in my house they all can push a chair up to a counter climb up, get into the cupboard and get a snack!! aaaahhhhh! ( i miss the babies!)

allright so life with strep i have to say is not fun! i cant believe i have been married for almost 8 years and have NEVER had to go to the doctor ...until now! let me just say it was the weirdest thing to have the doc doing and saying the exact same things to me as my children! 

so i am now on meds and the annoying rotten throat will soon be just a horrible memory! 

I have also decided to start going back to the gym, i am  tired of buying new pants! i have not changed the way i eat i just stopped going to the gym which with a body like mine i would need to pretty much starve myself to stay thin.....um not good for me I LOVE FOOD so i have decided to stop being lazy and just DO IT! so  i guess that is my first "New Years Resolution" ! 

Yesterday we had yummy thanksgiving at my house again with all my incredibly fun in-laws! 

they all came to our church along with my parents and siblings that are at home to watch matt and i talk at church. 

Let me just tell ya i was NOT born to talk in front of a bunch of people! 

matthew did very well! i really enjoy listening to him! 

I am glad it is finally over with we had over 4 weeks to prepare! i think that was worse than having 1or 2 weeks! anyway it went well.....so after we came back to my house ate some more bird and i LOVED my father in laws gravy! he makes it the best and to this day he wont tell me what he puts in it! then we played cards which is sooo much fun with them!we get all riled up. Jen taught us a new game called Shanghai. its kinda like phase ten..anyway tons of fun hope you guys had a great weekend!! ( oh AND i have strep!:( )

Happy thanksgiving!! this year we had turkey day at my house with my side of the family...we had a TON of people and it was sooo much fun! we love to play games and drink slush all night long!

arnt these the COOLEST band aids ever!! I took aubrey into the doctor on tuesday because she was fevering and throwing up ! so sure enough it was strep, so they gave her the shot that is like lotion! she was awesome!! she couldnt walk on it though for a day:)

Samm had her first Pow Wow in school! her Indian name was shining rain, isnt she soo cute!

Sammys party

Sammantha is turning 7 on thanksgiving so we threw her party this last saturday. She could only invite a handful of people because i had a genius idea to create bead shirts....not such a good idea! dont get me wrong they were SOOO cute and fun to make but the girls were too young to do it themselves and i did not have enough beads AND they wanted these masive designs.LOL! so i let them go crazy with the puffy paint and they LOVED that ...samm had so much fun! she was really excited to see her old friends! we had pizza, cupcakes , danced like crazy to Hannah Montana( they all think i am a crazy mom for dancing in front of people.HAHA!) then we played musical chairs and played the bonk on the head thing for samm to open her presents, they loved that:) .........thanks girls for making sammys day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just love when children want to sing anytime for you! I am not sure what she is singing but isnt she a DOLL!

SO friday was samms spirit day at school and OF COURSE she wore BYU! (go byu, even though you got slaughtered:)) and the rest of the kids wanted to take a pic as well haven I know is crazy but what can i say she was tested positive AGAIN for strep that day! poor girl!

Sammy had her friend over and we were taking pics and of course Aubrey wanted to be in the picture as well DO YOU NOTICE WHAT SHE IS DOING?????? How many of you have either done this to yourself or one of your daughters has done this?? HAHA! I TOTALLY REMEMBER! As i was taking the picture and noticed what she was doing i hollered at her to STOP CURLING YOUR HAIR WITH THE COMB! LOL and she freaked out and here is the damage..


it was wrapped pretty good! this is actually her second time doing this! she had REALLY long hair when she did it the first time:)
i was trying to remember how i got it out so easy last time? Matt told me to just cut it out! I of course refused Aubs was just crying GET IT OUT! so I got a threading needle to wiggle it loose and got it out in about 5 minutes!





now she is a happy camper:) thank goodness i did not cut it out her dad said! (men, they know ALL the answers:))
