Man vs snow

    

I came across these pics while i was trying to find something and totally forgot to post them! Matthew took the snow blower in the backyard and blew all the snow in one spot to make this AWESOME igloo for Parker. He then put a tarp down inside it (that is still laying on my green lawn!) and proceeded to put all my big blankets and sleeping bags in there and Parker, Samm (so not something i would do as a little girl!) and matt slept in there! CRAZY huh! anyway they were super hot in there, so samm said they did not use much of the blankets.....I told Matt and Parker they watch to much Man vs Wild! ( Bear Grylls wanna be's!!! haha!)

Im sooooo excited my baby sister FINALLY has a blog! 

For valentines the kids made those Saran wrap necklaces for their friends...i am just a little slow posting the pics! They had SUPER fun and we had WAY too much candy left over!

more puppy love

My dear sister annie gave my puppy his first hair shave yesterday. I just have to say THANK YOU to her cause it is a HUGE process. She said he did really good for being so little. I  love it. Annie has a 2 year old cocker whom Falkor was bugging the snot out of him..the whole 4 hours i was there they just chased each other around it was so cute! 

 Parker is so good with the dog he wants me to get him up real early so he can play with him while i get in another 30 minutes of sleep. I set my alarm every 2-3 hours to get up to take Falkor out to go the bathroom. Matt leaves at 4:45 in the morning to go to the gym so Falkor thinks it is time to get up and play and eat and enjoy life!! so my sweet parker gets up at about 6 to play with him while i sleep in his bed! haha! boys are the best!

 Sammantha has been in charge of potty duty for the dog. She is such an animal lover! SOOO good! 

I LOVE having her around it is gonna be so nice when i have this next baby too cause she will just want to do everything. 

  Aubrey has been in charge of holding the puppy as I shower so he doesnt have any accidents or chews up things and can i just tell ya that girl was ment to have animals too!! 

   Haven is well...just haven... mauling and loving, and bossing the puppy around!

The kids go back on track on monday so we will see how much I LOVE having a dog then! haha!

SWEET! Mr. Taxman finally decided to visit me and give me MY money!   I think I will try to stimulate the economy and buy....hmmmm.....some new running shoes and renew my gym membership!! 

Im In Love With A "Puppy"!

oh my heck i have NEVER felt so much in love with an animal as i do my little Falkor! Most people dont know that i have attempted having a puppy 2 other times..the first time my oldest sister Michelle gave us 2 puppies that were oh so cute, but samm was not yet 2 and parker was a baby...yeah it lasted oh about 2 days! 

 Then my younger sister Ariane gave me a housebroken, kennel trained Scottish terrier...perfect right?! well i did not have a fenced yard and it was a crazy puppy and yet again i had another baby so it was too hard for me....it lasted 4 days! so slightly longer...

 4 kids and NO babies later I am totally prepared for one and this time around I LOVE THIS DOG he is just the best and cutest thing ever! he is really good with the kids and he is so GOOD in his kennel......my parents are still waiting to see how long it will last..haha! it is for good now :)

So Parker came up to me after he was done in the bathroom and said

" Mom guess what, my poop smelled just like the puppy's poop!"

HAHA! i was rollin! i dont know about any of you mamas but when i have babies anything i do smells just like them! I guess that is why little boys are like puppies! lol

Puppy Love

So we changed our minds about the dog we wanted to get because of sammanthas allergies...so here he is the new member of our family.... FALKOR ATRAYU BALLARD

samm gets a little puffy in one eye if she rubs her eye but its not too bad so far! (fingers crossed)

Matt wanted to name him after the goodluck dragon from The Never Ending Story! it totally fits him. He has a really good temperament and loves to play with the kids. and as you can see he lets Haven Maul him! 

So far the potty training is going well he just goes ALL the time! my sis annie has a cocker spaniel that is just the sweetest and softest thing so that is what i think of when i want to give up:) haha! 

 I am really glad that i am back to just working 2 days a week again so i can be home the the little guy! 

25 Random Things About Me

1-I love entertaining people at my home.
2-I love talking to old people. They are soooo interesting!
3-I love to play card games.
4-I love running, thanks to my sil jen!

6-My favorite movie is The Fugitive, i mean come on Mr. Harrison Ford is super good looking!

8-I love to spend money especially on other people.

10-I love Love LOVE the smell of wet cement on a hot summer day! (me and the sisters used to lick the cement when we were laying out on our towels! haha!)

Meet our new puppy!

here we go again with the underlining! dumb blogger! 

So i wanted to inroduce you to our new puppy that we will be getting in 2 weeks! 

We decided the kids are now at the age where they can help take care of a pet and learn to love and appreciate animals. 

     The one on the left with the freckles is him! We are so excited!! i just love the droopy faces of the beagles!! ( i think this will be worse than having a new born though!)
