Baby

Today I had my first "check" check up with my O.B....blee! The good news was that the baby turned on its own so its finally head down! YEAH! (my prayers were answered!) The bad news (for me) I am only dilated to a 1plus..and only 55% effaced..what the!! I am always at least a 3 and 70% by now!! I just think this baby wants to see how fat I can get haha!!I scheduled my induction for Feb 5th so at least I will be 1 week early...I dont have as much FMLA at work to use so I have to be induced and it would be nice to not have matt miss any school or work for the birth. Anyway I am really excited to meet our little one soon! woot!! and of course excited to not have swollen legs, feet and face! This age thing is really taking a toll on me! I do NOT see how woman can have babies in their fortys! NO WAY!! My kids are all getting REALLY excited to find out what we are having! Parker just KNOWS its a girl..(poor guy has stopped hoping for a brother) and all the girls just KNOW its a boy!! haha! it will be so fun to see!
Isabelle had her ear surgery yesterday and did sooo well!! I couldnt believe it! ALL my girls when they have woken up from surgery just cry...but NOT izzy! The nurses couldnt believe how good she was...all until we were about to leave and I had to put the hospital toy down that she had been playing with. Then the screaming and craziness began!! Oh man I have never seen her so out of control...I felt so bad! :( ...she bit Matt on the face on the way out of the hospital and drew blood...she scratched him and was just screaming...It was for sure the anesthesia that was making her act this way...on the way home she screamed at the top of her lungs, bit herself 4 times and was spitting (seemed like foaming at the mouth) and trying to get out of her carseat...It was the longest drive home ever!! Once we got home she immediately calmed down when we got her a sippy cup of milk and has been AWESOME ever since!! Phew!!

Journal Jars

So my awesome Mother In Law has started something new with my children this past week..She bought them each a binder filled with some lined paper, a cool mechanical pencil and a little container filled with little strips of paper with a question on them. What some of you call a journal jar most of you have probably done something like this as a kid or even a family night lesson. Anyway, she told them that she wants them to glue the question on the top of a page and then fill the whole sheet of paper with the answer to that question! They can add pictures if they want on the back side of the page too.. When they are done with the questions then they get to call her and come over to refill their jars and get more paper to fill out..AND they get to pick from this jar that has different things they get to do with Grandma, like go out for an icecream or have a sleep over or a simple grandma treat!! HOW FUN is that! And then what she is going to do with the papers they fill out is put them in a separate binder and give that to the kids as a wedding gift!!! How Awesome!! I personally think its WAY to much work, but she is really into family history stuff and wants us to all preserve our memories! And Im thinking it will get the kids into the habit of keeping a journal.
So of course we came home and it only took the kids 1 whole day to fill out each one of their questions lol! they LOVE doing things with Grandma so of course they are going to fill out as many as they can haha! I told her she should probably just let them pick out of her jar maybe once a week! she is CRAZY! So she will be coming over to our house tomorrow to refill the kids questions..they are stoked! I will have to try to get some pictures of them and post...I think its a great idea and I think it will be sooo fun to get a big book of stories that you wrote when you were a kid to share with your own children! Im very surprised at how much each one of them wrote! It was fun for me to read them too to get to know my kids more! Love ya mom!

Shout out to the Husband

I also want to update on how my fabulous Husband is doing with school..
He has recently decided to apply for the Pharmacy program at the UofU (gag I know, but if Byu had a program we would go there!) anyway that means 1 more year to add on of prereq classes and then of course it is a 4 year program instead of the 3 year that we were going to go to...so all in all he will have about 6 more years of school before he graduates...yeah...right...
He is doing AMAZING though,,,,he some how manages to get A's and B's in all his classes, take care of 5 kids (soon 6) while he is doing homework (while I am at work), works at the pharmacy and is the Young Mens President in our ward...he is truly amazing! I am so proud of him and thankful for him!
He has recently started working more at the pharmacy as well so I can cut my hours back at work to just 30 a week..it has been real hard to do the full time thing with this pregnancy and all the other household responsibilities and the kids...So again what an amazing guy! Thanks sweety!
At the end of every semester we have been taking the kids to a resturant to celebrate Matts progress! This last semester we took them to Ihop,So fun! The kids love it and I think its really good for them to see how important we think school is. Hopefully each one of them will go to college right out of Highschool!...

More ear troubles

I think it would be fair to now say that there is something WRONG with my girls ears...Isabelle is scheduled to go into surgery for ear tubes this Monday the 16th...I was hoping I would be in the clear with her but of course she had to start getting ear infections the month she turned 2! ugh! So if this next baby comes out a girl it will be real interesting to see if she will need tubes too haha!
Sammantha got tubes when she was 6 months old, Aubrey got them at 6 months and 2 years and Haven got them at almost 3 years old...and of course my ONLY son has never had an ear infection haha! Dang explain that one to me please! Anyway, I am really excited to have Big baby get them cause she has been so unhappy since October...
I am getting really excited to meet our new little one...it has only takin me 8 months to finally get super excited! My little sister Jessica had her baby a few weeks ago and I think that just REALLY made me baby hungry, and not just any baby hungry but hungry for a baby boy...her little guy is sooo stinkin CUTE!! oh AND my sister in law had a little boy a couple months ago too! DANG I sure hope I get another little man! wouldnt that be so fun to see what another boy would look like in my family! :) ...And it would be soo nice for Parker to have a brother..even though they will be almost 9 years apart lol....anyway im not holding my breath though cause im sure Heavenly Father is going to give me another girl...This pregnancy has been quit the roller coaster! I was soooo super sick for about 6 weeks at the beginning and now I am so large that I feel like my whole body is going to break...I am so glad this will be my last pregnancy! I am super thrilled that I have my 6 kids before I turn 31!~ the goal was to be done at 30 woot!!! I feel so blessed to have all my kids in my life! Each one has such a unique spirit and brings so many different things into my family, I couldnt imagine life without them!

Holidays

It's that time of year again!! YEAH!! We made our annual Gingerbread houses (out of graham crackers) with my inlaws this past friday...SO FUN! I think this has been the first year that I felt like I knew what I was doing....The kids all did so awesome too! Big Baby just ate the candy and didnt really show an interest in wanting to do one (phew!)so just the older kids did one...we yet have decided where to put them. We are really excited for Christmas this year! We are going to start a few new traditions with the kids.. The first one is to go to Thanksgiving Point for the lights and maybe a carriage ride... the second I want to start is sleeping under (or right by) the christmas tree, reading books on Christs birth and other christmas stories a few days before christmas. Every year we have always gone to see the lights at Temple square as well, but this year we are going to start taking our own hot chocolate to walk around with.. (because my family is getting so large!)...It hasnt snowed too much yet this year but we love to go sledding when it does..so that I think will always be one of our traditions as well!...maybe not for me though this year because of this massive belly I have :)

Updates

According to my little sister Jessica, I need to blog. Pulling up my blog and seeing snowflakes was actually pretty refreshing due to I already think it is getting to warm outside haha!
Lets see we have moved AGAIN (I know stop already!), but we needed something bigger with all our kids and something not on a busy street. We are actually renting a home from one of our old friends in our first neighborhood that we lived in for about 6 years! It's so fun to be back in our original ward and with all our old friends, and of course the many friends for the kids too!. Our home is AMAZING!! the yard is HUGE and it is at the top of a circle which is so nice when you have kids! We never have to worry about the kids riding their bikes.
We kept the kids in their old school until the new school year so we have to drive them everyday, such a pain lol. They just went back on track and get off in about 2 1/2 weeks for the summer!~ WOOT!
We have already got a camping trip in this summer too! It was soo fun! I just wish I would have taken some pics! The problem is the more kids you have the less you take cause you are either A: to tired or B: forgot the camera...Anyway, we went with my in-laws up to the American Fork Canyons for 3 nights..we roasted lots of marshmallows and made lots and lots of dutch oven goodness! I love camping with my family! so much fun for the kids!
Matt's classes are getting a little tougher so we decided to have him drop work and just do 1 day a week at the pharmacy and I went back to work FULL time! (STAB ME WITH A FORK IN THE EYE) The one good thing about going full time with my company though is that I get to work from home!! So SO SO SO nice! I love that I can take my breaks with my kids and hubbs and I can eat healthy stuff all day long!! I only have to go into the building 1 or 2 times a month AWESOME!!
Matt just got a new calling this last week....Young Mens president..cough..cough...so much for all his free time eh! He is really excited though and has just jumped right in! He is going to take the summer semester now so that he can get into the groove of things with the calling..I figure though since he still has about 4 years of school left whats another semester right haha! anyway he is an amazing man and I am so happy that he takes on every calling that he is given!!
Lets see im sure there is sooo many more things that have happened in the lst 6 months but my brain is a little fried!
